TBK cooks- Watermelon, Cucumber and Feta Salad

Ten days ago Patrick sent me a link to a video with 5 summer salads on it and as summer heats up here in Bahrain I have made one salad every two days. This is the last in the series. Watermelon, Cucumber and Feta Salad.

15 Bd is nearly 2,000 Philippine peso or 28.79 Pound sterling, Just for one water melon!

I am currently on a crusade against people I trust ripping me off and a friend pointed out the price on the Water Melon from Alosra in Riffa Palms. He pointed out that in the Philippines I will be able to buy a tray of melons for that exorbitant price!

So here are the ingredients you will need to make this tasty salad:

The ingredients

1 water melon

1 cucumber ( of the last 5 cucumber I bought from Alosra I had to throw away 4 as they were soft and limp before I used them)

1 Red onion

Feta Cheese

Dice the melon and then turn it over and hit on the bottom like Jake showed me

This is what you do, or as my Kubayan say, THE PROCEDURE!

Slicing the cucumber

Cut the Water Melon in half and dice the contents and place in a bowl. Keep the Water Melon skin to serve the salad in. Then slice a cucumber, dice a red inion and put the melon, cucumber and onion in a bowl and mix with cubed feta cheese, a little salt and Balsamic vinegar. Then place the ingredients in the Melon skin , refrigerate and serve
