Just click this link and let it play quietly in the background as you read this special blog:
Yes it's here. After another awful year where COV 19 wrecked our dreams around the world and killed 4.5 million people. SeptemBER 1st is the start of Christmas in the Philippines , which is on record as having the longest Christmas in the world.
For my non Kabayan the BER months ( SeptemBER, OctoBER, NovemBER and DecemBER) are when Christmas is celebrated across the Philippines and by OFW around the world.
One of the many Christmas Memes featuring Jose Mari Chan, updated for COV 19 ( for my Meme loving friend in Cambodia click here for some more: https://thesmartlocal.com/philippines/jose-mari-chan-memes/) ( accessed 30.8.21)
For my non Kabayan who is Jose Mari Chan?

Age 76 he is still going strong and is wheeled out every September to sing his songs, endorse products and bring a tear to every OFW's eye as they miss their family back home.

Which brings me to my Christmas greetings to all my readers ( no Christmas cards or Calendars this year and no birthday cards or postcards next year). Please don't send me any actual cards as I do not have an address having got rid of my rented homes in Palawan and Bahrain! :
Maligayang Pasko ( Tagalog)
Maayong Pasko ( Bisaya)
( Ilocano)
Ma-ambeng na pasko kanindong tanan ( Cuyunon)
Merry Christmas ( English)
As usual thanks to all my Kabayan that helped with the information for the blog ( Corleen, Patrick, Vin and TJ) and the wonderful Google and Wikipedia for the information on Jose Mari Chan.
I would like to dedicate this blog to all those who will not be here for Christmas this year:
Jay, Chester's dad, Kiti Ki's friend, the 4.5 million people who died of COV 19, all those who committed suicide because they had no money due to COV 19, and all those killed in Afghanistan, and all their families.
Let us hope that 2022 is better than 2021 and will finally see me move to Palawan to join all my friends there

PS- special thanks to all the Front liners for your efforts this year in spite of those who refuse to get vaccinated
